In this video, we will try to solve a problem using FVM, so that you will get familiarized with the method.
Assignment: lesson 19
Solve the problem discussed in video 19.2 using 50 cells and program it using Matlab/Octave. Make the program very generic that the user can give any boundary condition values, length of the rod, mesh size etc.

Solve Problem 4.2 from the textbook by Malalasekara and Versteeg (Check the material section of this lesson if you don’t have the textbook copy with you). This time solve with different boundary conditions, don’t use the same values as in the textbook. You don’t need to program it, but rather solve it with pen and paper. Upload the hand calculations as the report.
