Lesson 1: Introduction to CFD
This is the first lesson of this course which will give you an introduction to CFD, various opportunities in the CFD field, and also the structure of this course in general.
Assignments: Lesson 1
Assignment 1.1 : Plot sin(x), cos(x) and tan(x) vs angle using MS Excel. All three functions should be plotted on the same graph. Make sure that the plot is of publishable quality like you see in journals/textbooks. Add legends and axis titles with units.
Assignment 1.2: Split a triangle into quadrilaterals. Make sure that there are no triangles and it is only quadrilaterals. This is the beginning of meshing !!!
Note: Upload assignments as PDF files, and use the template PPT shared in Lesson 0 for submission of assignments (Convert PPT to PDF and upload). Combine both the assignments (1.1 and 1.2) into a single file and upload.
