  • surface feature extract error in motorbike case

    when I hit the surfaceFeatureExtract command then it shows Foam Fatal error. can you suggest an idea to resolve it?

    Hi Utkarsh,
    Please put a screenshot with the error you are getting and details of the problem. Foam Fatal error can happen due to a number of reasons, and we cannot detect the cause without more details.

      Hi Utkarsh,

      Did you copy the obj.gz file from the resources folder in the OpenFoam tutorials folder and extract it to .obj file in the correct location as discussed in the lesson?

          Hi Utkarsh,
          There seems to be a minor spelling mistake in your path name since the path name is case-sensitive. The obj file needs to be copied into triSurface directory. But you have used the folder name as trisurface. Could you please change this and take a look?
