Did you install openfoam on windows? if so then you should install paraview independently and open maually. Then browse the path of your case in the paraview to open your foam.foam file. then it will work.

Are you sure that do you upload correct foam.foam??? When I looked at the error it says that it is in the E: directory.

Can you make pwd on terminal and paste here

        Hi Shubham,
To overcome these file I/O permission issues, you can also run your cases in your local drive instead of in the home folder. Copy the tutorials to a folder in your D drive (like D:/Openfoam/run), and run the cases in that folder.
You can create the new folder using the command:
        mkdir /mnt/d/Openfoam/run

You can also change the FOAM_RUN directory in settings to use this as the default run folder.

        Best regards

happy to hear that it worked finally.

related to files change, I think that after copy files are protected mode. open terminal and go to case folder that you copied. Then type: chmod +777 cavity

    after that it should work.

      Hi Baris

      Thank you for your reply

I have changed mode of cavity folder but still i cant able to edit blockMeshDict file to make mesh fine.

Just i can only delete the details from blockMeshDict but not able to write no of division. like 40 that you mentioned in the video.

Please find attached details to check access of folder and files.

Please have a look and suggest necessary action

        Hi Shubham,
You can use any text editor in Windows like Notepad++ or Notepad to directly open and modify the files as you are working in a local directory.
Since it seems you are trying to make changes from the command prompt itself, you need to make sure the cursor is at the correct position in the file by navigating using the keyboard, and not the mouse.
        Regards
        Rahul
