    In Versteeg Malalasekera book page no 147 (text book page no.),

    equation written for Node 1 is given shown the attached photo.

    Considering f > 0 i.e flow direction is from west to east

    in that case our Φw = Φo or ΦA i.e left BC and Φe = ΦP (first attachment)

    but while writing the same for 5th node

    Φw = ΦW and Φe is the boundary condition i.e ΦL or ΦB (second attachment)

    but in text book why Φe = ΦP ??? in the Left hand side of equation

    and Φe = ΦB in the Right hand side of equation???

    From my understanding I have written the eq for 5th Node. Is it correct ? (third attachment)

    I will be grateful if someone can help.

    Hi Kushal, because of these situation is half boudary condition. I think you are not considering this situation. So these book writing like Φe = ΦP . I share my notes, you can examine how can you implement this method(for node-5). Have a nice day
