    After running blockMesh i did run the command checkMesh.
    Result of CheckMesh is ok, however I have a query around the chckmesh File:

    Create time

    –> FOAM Warning :
    From function static Foam::instantList Foam::timeSelector::select0(Foam::Time&, const Foam::argList&)
    in file db/Time/timeSelector.C at line 269
    No time specified or available, selecting ‘constant’
    Create polyMesh for time = constant

    Question:
    Could you please explain the warning and the alternatives around this message with time?
    Appreciated your thoughts and background in this for analogues models.

    When using OF9 (openfoam.org) the following message will appaer:

    Command: surfaceFeatureExtract

    The surfaceFeatureExtract utility has been superseded and replaced by by the
    more general surfaceFeatures utility.

    surfaceFeatures reads a surfaceFeaturesDict input file with a much
    simpler, more convenient format. Example surfaceFeaturesDict files
    can be found in the tutorial and template cases, e.g. located as
    follows:
    find $FOAM_TUTORIALS -name surfaceFeaturesDict
    find $FOAM_ETC -name surfaceFeaturesDict


    Solution is to copy the SurfaceFeaturesExtractDict and rename it to SurfaceFeaturesDict
    Subsequently run the command: SurfaceFeatures

    Still strugling to get this case running.
    I assume the materials has not been uploaded yet.

    My case resolves already after 7 itterations. Not sure what I need to change.

    Hi John,
    The new case file name is new_golf_ball_test_case. I have deleted the previous case file and uploaded the latest one.
    Let us know if that case file works.

    Hi Baris it is working fine with me as well.

    Quick feedback.
    I managed to get the case running.
    – DecomposeParMesh clashes when run at a later stage with DecomposePar
    o Solution run single on single processor
    o DecomposePar can run parallel with no issue with np 4.
    – OF 9 has changed the QualityMeshDict where the etc file location (since OF6)
    – Updated case run for kEpsilon with the updated case
    – Changed out for kOmega case the FVSchemes with one of the tutorials under OF9.
    All convergen going well now.
