As the Cricket World Cup is going on let’s try to solve one problem

Assume you are a bowler in your own cricket team and bowling a ball of 100mm diameter [which is not the same in cricket rules 😅] to the opponent at the speed of Mach 5 { think as Aerodynamist😎😎}…
    * What is the heat flux produced due to aerodynamic heating?

    * What is the heat flux produced due to radiation towards batsmen?

    * Just tell me a rough temperature on the ball….

    * Can you tell me what thermal protection layer you will apply to the ball so as not to melt at Mach 5 temperatures?

Assuming the material is aluminum and Standard sea-level atmospheric conditions…..
