I am solving the axisymmetric problem of lesson 14. I want to ask, if I am giving axisymmetric conditions and calculating the mass flow rate at inlet. Then how will solver compute the mass flow rate? Will it apply axisymmetric conditions and give me the value of mass flow rate at inlet over 3D geometry or will it give the mass flow rate only on the existing 2D geometry?

Axisymmetric problems uses the 2D solver of fluent. It will give the results for a full 360 degrees and not for 1 degree like in other solvers like CFX or OpenFOAM.
